This is a contract that promises to loose no more than 1 of the 13 tricks during the play with no trump suit. In addition to a bonus for making game, you get additional bonus points for making slam. b. Slam in a major. This is a contract that promises to loose no more than 1 of the 13 tricks during the play with a major trump suit. In addition to a bonus for making game, you get additional bonus points for making slam. c. Slam in a minor. This is a contract that promises to loose no more than 1 of the 13 tricks during the play with a minor trump suit. In addition to a bonus for making game, you get additional bonus points for making slam. d. Game with a 4-4 fit in the majors. This is a contract that promises to loose no more than 3 of the 13 tricks during the play with a major trump suit. You get significant bonus points for making game. e. Game in no-trump. This is a contract that promises to loose no more than 4 of the 13 tricks during the play with no trump suit. You get significant bonus points for making game. f. Game with a 5-3 fit in the majors. This is a contract that promises to loose no more than 4 of the 13 tricks during the play with no trump suit. You get significant bonus points for making game. g. Game in a minor. This is a contract that promises to loose no more than 2 of the 13 tricks during the play with a minor trump suit. You get significant bonus points for making game. h. Less than a game bid (ie, a "partial") or defend. You get no significant bonus points. In addition, strive to avoid passing up a 3NT contract. In targeting a No-Trump contract, attempt to make declarer the one who has the stopper in the opponent's suit(s).
